After the preview on November 8th Sport Movies & TVthe most important sports audiovisual festival in the Olympic context, the complete film on the story of the Italian national team at the 2023 World Cup is available to all fans on the Federation’s main YouTube channel.
Mission: Classic is produced by the Italian American Baseball Foundation (IABF) under the patronage of FIBS and was created by Chris Vaccarojournalist, communications teacher and two-Emmy Award-winning author, who has directed and produced, Riccardo Landiexecutive producer, editing and photography.
The documentary tells the story, in the voice of Matteo Gandinithe weeks that go from the meeting in Italy of the first 13 players who made up Mike Piazza’s national team for the last Classic in November 2022, up to the quarter-final on 16 March 2023 with Japan which earned the Azzurri the historic fifth place world.
The camera lens accompanied the athletes, entered the meeting rooms, the changing rooms, the training fields and the buses, collecting images, words, emotions of an unforgettable adventure which merge with the spectacular game actions and are transformed now in a film available to all who wish to share them.
