Talavera Basketball Hosts Technique Campus for Youth Players Over Christmas Break

Talavera Basketball has a plan for its youth players for this Christmas and it involves a little more basketball if possible, in case during these days of rest without games the players of the ceramic club do not want to lose the habit.

This activity goes one step further since the entity has decided to create a Technique Campus in order to improve the individual technique of the player and that is not only intended for the youth players themselves, but is open to participants from outside. Of the entity.

Among the objectives pursued, apart from the aforementioned, are those of learning and improving each and every one of the specific fundamentals (dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, stops, feints, pivots, penetrations, completions), as well as learning and improve both reading of the game in attack and defensive technique and tactics.

We must not forget another series of principles such as that the participants can develop those educational foundations that basketball has, as well as promote a series of values ​​as important as coexistence, friendship, self-esteem, respect, commitment, teamwork…

From Alevín to Junior category, different specific programs will be carried out by category in a Campus that will take place from December 26 to 29 in the Puerta de Cuartos’ Pavilion in Talavera.

The activity will be carried out by Sandro Gacic, player of the first team, Tecnocasa Talavera, and Javi Martín, coach of the Talavera entity. Along with them there will also be some special guests throughout the days in which the Technique Campus takes place.

It will take place over four days from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the price is 80 euros and 60 euros more if there are two siblings who sign up for the activity. Registration can be made through the club’s website (www.baloncestotalavera.com) and places are limited.
