For Alessio Loi a silver in Ostia. Success in Arborea for Cristian Loi, Mattia Manca, Eleonora Loi, Emma and Sofia Abdellatif
Rain of medals for the Judo Terralba sports group, which collected many excellent results at the regional championships in Arborea and the national ones in Ostia.
Over 200 athletes from all over Sardinia competed in Arborea. The judokas of Judo Terralba – which organized the event – reached the podium several times: two golds for Cristian Loi and Mattia Manca, a silver for Eleonora Loi and two bronzes for Emma Abdellatif and Sofia Abdellatif.
On Saturday 9 December, the Italian Beginners B Championship was held in Ostia and Alessio Loi of Judo Terralba placed second in the +81 kg category, winning two out of three matches.
“I am proud of the result obtained by Alessio, we worked hard for an entire year”, commented the coach Giovanni Spanu, who accompanied and followed Loi on the tatami. “For our club it is truly a great satisfaction to have arrived this far, despite all the difficulties we have to face in order to participate in competitions outside Sardinia. To end the year on a high note, at the end of the month we will participate with 4 athletes from our club in a national stage in Bardonecchia.”
