Fernando Tatis Jr., the star of the San Diego Padres, made his debut in the Dominican Republic.
He is coming off his best season in MLB, after the setbacks in 2022.
The Padres right patrolman established himself as the best in his position, at least defensively. He had no rival after winning the Gold Glove, earning 29 runs saved, the most for an outfielder in MLB.
On the other hand, Estrellas Orientales, Tatis Jr.’s team in LIDOM, have seen three consecutive setbacks. Despite these drawbacks, they occupy second position with 22 wins and 18 losses, a game and a half away from first place.
