Wolverhampton Wanderers Appreciates Justin Hubner in the Indonesian National Team Squad

Wolves stated that Hubner is now trying to find an international stage with Indonesia in official tournaments.

English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers expressed their appreciation for Justin Hubner’s success in being included in the final list of the Indonesian national team squad for the 2023 Asian Cup.

The Asian Cup will be Hubner’s first international tournament with the Red and White team. Previously, Hubner only appeared in trial matches while the senior national team was undergoing training camp.

“Hubner was part of the training camp in Turkey, where Indonesia faced Libya twice in consecutive international friendly matches, before leaving for Qatar to play the final match against Iran,” wrote the management on the club’s official website.

“Shin Yae-yong has now confirmed his final squad for the finals, with Hubner included in the 26-man group who begin their campaign against Iraq on Monday afternoon.”

“The defender is one of two players in the squad who played in England alongside Ipswich Town’s Elkan Baggott, and is also hoping to feature on the international stage.”

Previously, Tae-yong made a surprise in deciding the final list of the senior national team squad. This tactician from South Korea did not include the name Saddil Ramdani, who showed good performance with Sabah FC in the Malaysia Super League (MSL).

Tae-yong seems to prefer players with good defensive abilities, so he retained Adam Alis. One other player who was dropped from the team was Arkhan Fikri. Meanwhile, Shayne Pattynama, who is currently in the Netherlands, remains in the squad.
