Use Lehecka
The 22-year-old Lehecka defeated third-seeded Sebastian Korda 6:2, 6:1 in the first semifinal and thus moved into his second ATP final. “I love this country. It’s so nice to start the year here,” he said after his victory. “I’m enjoying every minute here at my debut in Adelaide, and you can tell that on the pitch too.”
Lehecka first caused a stir at the Australian Open last year when he reached the quarter-finals.
In the final, the Czech will face Jack Draper, also 22. The Brit won 7:6 (2), 6:4 against Alexander Bublik.
Both players will fight for their first title on the ATP tour on Saturday. Lehecka was in the final in Winston-Salem last year, Draper in Sofia later this year.
