Dybala on Newcastle’s shelves?
The Argentine world champion Paulo Dybala (AS Roma) would be one of Newcastle’s priorities during this winter transfer window according to Corriere Della Sera, confirmed by the Sun. His release clause amounting to just around €12 million for foreign clubs would attract the club, which is plagued by Financial Fair Play limitations.
- Our opinion: Paulo Dybala at this price, it’s a bet that is definitely worth taking.
An offer of 22 million for Lodi, OM would already have his replacement
Olympique de Marseille would be about to accelerate for its left piston position. Renan Lodi could thus leave the club. According to RMC Sport, OM have an offer worth 22 million euros for their Brazilian left back from Al-Hilal, and should accept it.
Italian insider Fabrizio Romano assures for his part that Marseille would have reached an agreement with Hellas Verona for the transfer of its Scottish left side Josh Doig. The final details of the transfer would have to be finalized while an agreement has already been reached with the player. Di Marzio adds that the operation should be completed at around six million euros.
- Our opinion: at this price and after only six months in Marseille, the offer for Lodi is almost too good. But Doig offers few guarantees.
OL track, Krunic signs for Fenerbahçe
AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic will finish the season with Fenerbahçe on loan with an option to buy, the Turkish club announced this Saturday. The Bosnian international, tracked by OL according to rumors, was lacking playing time in Italy after four seasons spent in Milan.
- Our opinion: not a big loss for Olympique Lyonnais.
Atlético keeps an eye on Yoro
According to Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto for Relevo, Atlético de Madrid would target Lille Leny Yoro to prepare the future of its central defense. The young Frenchman, sparkling with LOSC at the start of the season, would be on the list of several major European clubs.
- Our opinion: despite a contract which ends in June 2025, Lenny Yoro could bring in a big ticket to LOSC… but this summer.
Juve also want Henderson
At the center of attention after announcing his wish to leave the Saudi championship, midfielder Jordan Henderson could head to Italy and Turin. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have started talks with Al-Ettifaq for a loan of the former Liverpool player this winter.
- Our opinion: at a lower cost, Juventus could get a good deal as they know how to achieve.
Ekitike, things are stuck because of his salary
According to Sky Sports in Germany, Hugo Ekitike is not yet in the Bundesliga. While rumors are accumulating about a possible departure of the PSG striker for Germany, one point risks causing a problem: his salary. Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt would not have the means to match the emoluments received by the former Rémois at PSG. Ekitike would then have a choice to make: lower his salary or wait for offers from the Premier League where several clubs are following him.
- Our opinion: after five months without playing at only 21 years old, Hugo Ekitike could be well inspired to finally leave the Parisian loft.
Accord Naples – Bournemouth pour Traorè
SSC Naples have reached an agreement with Bournemouth for the transfer of Ivorian striker Hamed Traorè according to Sky Sport Italia. The player is expected to finish the season on loan from Naples, with a purchase option set at 25 million euros. A year after his arrival in England, the former Sassuolo and Empoli should therefore already return to Serie A which had revealed him.
- Our opinion: weaned from playing time in the Premier League, a return to Italy to a top club could allow Traorè to explode.
Matic set for Monday, Truffert is not for sale
Nemanja Matic will meet Rennes leaders on Monday to find a base in the Serbian environment, according to information from Canal +. The Breton club refused an offer from OL, estimated between 1 and 2 million euros. Furthermore, Rennes would not intend to sell Adrien Truffert, tracked by OM, as well as Arnaud Kalimuendo. Finally, in the arrivals department, the path leading to Pierre Lees-Melou becomes complicated because Brest does not intend to part with its midfielder. On the other hand, Alidu Seidu (Clermont) would be close to joining the SRFC for an amount estimated between 10 and 15 million euros.
- Our opinion: Lees-Melou would have been a good recruit to replace Matic, too bad for Rennes.
