One of Tom Brady’s baseball cards in a Montreal Expos uniform was sold for a small fortune at auction.
In December, the Fanatics company, which owns Topps trading cards, released the Bowman Draft 2023 series: this includes the first baseball card of the legendary quarterback in the “Loves” uniform.

One of these cards was obtained for an amount of US$158,600 on Saturday on the Goldin auction platform. The seller is a collector from Minnesota who was lucky enough to find a signed Brady card.
The holder of seven Super Bowl rings was drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 draft by the Expos. The one who worked as a catcher in baseball, however, decided to refuse the invitation from the Montreal organization and continue his sporting journey in football. The quarterback joined the University of Michigan Wolverines and the rest is history.
By unveiling its new collection of cards, Fanatics caused a huge reaction with an advertisement where it imagines that Brady has achieved the same success in the major leagues – in Montreal – as in the NFL. His 649 touchdown passes turned into 649 home runs and his seven Super Bowl victories became World Series victories.
