Who was Powell?

Ronald Powell began his career at Rancho Verde High School in California, as a defensive end, linebacker and tight end. He was always very prominent in college football and was recognized as the best player in his recruiting class.

Powell faced adversity due to injuries, including two torn ACLs during his college days with the Florida Gators.

Despite this, the New Orleans Saints selected him in the fifth round of the 2014 draft, and he played in 14 games during his rookie season.
