When the Kansas City Chiefs face the Buffalo Bills in the Ronda DivisionalPatrick Mahomes will play a playoff game outside of Arrowhead Stadium or a neutral venue like the Super Bowl for the first time.
Highmark Stadium will be hostile territory due to the weather and the Bills fans. However, that is something that does not have the Chiefs quarterback worried.
“I have been fortunate to play many games at Arrowhead Stadium, but now we have the opportunity to play away from home, in a hostile environment,” Mahomes said at a press conference. “Even though I know it will be hostile and there will be a lot of people talking, I’m excited because it’s one of the best atmospheres in football and it’s something you want to do when you grow up watching games.”
During the 2023 season, Mahomes is 6-2 on the road. Their only two losses outside of Arrowhead Stadium were against the Denver Broncos in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers in Week 13.

Patrick Mahomes’ losses in the playoffs
Mahomes has played 15 games as a starting quarterback and has only suffered three losses. The first of them was in 2018, when the Chiefs were defeated by the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The quarterback threw three touchdown passes, but the opposing running attack overtook him (2 TDs de Sony Michel y 2 TDs de Rex Burkhead).
