Following a long free kick sent into the area, Hegazy puts it back into the area for Abdelmonem who pushes the ball into the empty goal. After checking with the video, the goal is refused.

Kudus’ volley!

Semenyo wins a corner on the left. Ayew sees his pass being boxed by El Shenawy. Kudus places a right volley from the center, passing over the frame.

Opportunity wasted by Kamal

On the right, Kamal has space to shift left towards Marmoush. His pass is not supported and is intercepted by a Ghanaian. Egypt is not ahead.

Mensah imprecise

Ghana attacks on the left, via Mensah who accelerates before placing a cross behind the cage of El Shenawy.

The game resumes!

After the first 45 minutes where the situation got out of hand in added time with Salah’s injury and Kudus’ goal, Ghana started the second act.

First nightmarish act for Egypt

This clash between Egypt and Ghana took more than 40 minutes to get going. More precisely, as soon as Egyptian star Mohamed Salah had to give up his place after being injured. A few seconds later, Kudus fires a powerful left shot to launch the Black Stars. After a first period where the Pharaohs showed nothing offensively, they must now wake up.

HOLY MARQUE!

Double blow for Egypt! After Salah’s injury, Kudus was found by Abdul Samed on full axis near the surface. The midfielder fires a powerful left shot. El Shenawy relaxes, but is too short. 0-1!

Fathy at fault

Author of a push into Ayew’s back, Fathy is verbally challenged by the referee. Star of this team, Salah is currently little found.

Balanced duel but…

If we see a balanced duel in the game, the Black Stars have an easier time projecting themselves and worrying the Pharaohs’ defense. Conversely, Egypt is far from shining ahead.
