Andrey Rublev is still undefeated in 2024
Andrey Rublev remains undefeated in the 2024 season: After the Russian first won the title in Hong Kong, he is now in the round of 16 at the Australian Open. A concentrated performance against Sebastian Korda was enough for Rublev to survive the third round with 6:2, 7:6 (6) and 6:4 after a playing time of just under two hours. Now it’s against Alex de Minaur, on whom the Australians’ collective hopes rest. De Minaur won against the Italian Flavio Cobolli in three sets.
At the top, Novak Djokovic now has Adrian Mannarino in front of him after his safe success against Tomas Martin Etcheverry. In the head-to-head, Djokovic leads 4-0, but the last game dates back to 2018.

Sinner now against Khachanov
Jannik Sinner, who has so far sailed through the tournament completely carefree, now has Karen Khachanov in front of him. And will be warned. Khachanov has often shown his best performances in Grand Slam tournaments in recent years. Sinner has won two of the three previous matches against Karen Khachanov.
And then there is Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek seems to be getting better and better and had no problems against an (admittedly exhausted) Luca van Assche. Now it’s Tsitsipas against Taylor Fritz. He defeated him in five sets in Australia 2022. In the head-to-head it is 3:1 for Tsitsipas.
