On the 21st, DeNA pitcher Irie Daisuke, known as the “King of Hama’s Laughter,” held a talk event in Yokohama City with pitcher Kentaro Taira and fielding coach Kazuya Fujita. Out of 2,308 applicants, 150 groups were selected by lottery and 300 fans were thrilled with their light-hearted talk.

At this day’s event, Yoshimoto Kogyo comedians “Oswald”, “Matenrou”, and “Onikoshi Tomahawk” performed their stories. Irie, who was standing at the back of the audience and looking at me with a serious expression, said, “I was there after the comedians, but I regret that I couldn’t talk as much as the comedians.”
