What a day at CAN. Ghana, which quietly led 2-0 at the start of stoppage time against Mozambique, conceded two goals in the 91st and 94th, to concede a 2-2 draw. With two points and a third place, the Black Stars have almost no chance of qualifying for the next round, unless an incredible miracle occurs in the final matches. What a disappointment for the training of Jordan and André Ayew.
This leaves hope for Cote d’Ivoire, who become a better third than Ghana, and still have to overtake a team to qualify. Egypt was joined in the score in the 99th minute against Cape Verde with a 2-2 draw which nevertheless allows them to qualify with their evening opponent.
