Cori Gauff will not win a second consecutive Grand Slam title. Titled at the US Open last September, she had, like others, to wait to see how she would approach the next Major, how she would face the first difficulties. Others before her took time to digest a first supreme coronation. By losing in the semi-final this Friday against Aryna Sabalenka, Gauff lived up to expectations. Disappointed, she obviously is, but there is not only negative in this last Grand Slam before her 20th birthday.
