The Irish MP Mick Wallace took the Mole derby a little too much to heart so much so that, during an intervention at European Parliamentpronounced the phrase: “Good luck to Toro on Saturday for the derby against Juventus, Juve me..a and go Toro” complete with a grenade shirt. Wallace, a well-known Torino fan, also showed up in the courtroom in 2021 with the Piedmontese team’s shirt celebrating the comeback victory over Sassuolo “on St. Patrick’s Day, protector of Ireland”.
