RSC Anderlecht is searching worldwide for reinforcements. The people of Brussels also look to Ghana for this. There they came across a young player, but the interest is great.
David Oduro plays for Accra Lions and according to foreign sources, the club spoke with RSC Anderlecht and Bayer Leverkusen, among others. For the time being, there are no concrete proposals yet. FC Barcelona, where he had already been on trial, would also be interested. There is no mention of Chelsea, where he also went to test, for the time being.
RSCA managed to sign a player from Chelsea last year with Tudor Mendel-Idowu, right under the nose of FC Barcelona. He had a difficult first year at the Futures.
Alphonso Davies type
Oduro is a 17-year-old left back. Vinyl Tong told the Spanish Sport the following about him. “His profile and characteristics make him reminiscent of Alphonso Davies. Powerful in duels, a born finisher, great at advancing with the ball at his feet, can break through lines…,” he said.
The player turns 18 in June and can therefore start working for European clubs. At Anderlecht they still have a young left back in Moussa N’Diaye, but he has not yet managed to continue in the Lotto Park – partly due to injuries.
