DaRon Bland Steps Up in Wake of Trevon Diggs Injury for Dallas Cowboys

FRISCO, Texas – DaRon Bland was moved overseas in his second season with the Dallas Cowboys due to Trevon Diggs’ season-ending injury in early September.

Diggs tore his ACL in practice last year and is currently undergoing rehab, but all signs point to the first-team All-Pro cornerback making great progress.

“He looks good,” assistant head coach and defensive backs coach Al Harris said. “I was just looking at him. Britt [Brown] He is doing a great job. As for the schedule, I’ll leave that to Britt and [su] staff. But for what he did today, I think he did a great job. Looks good”.

Diggs will join Bland and Jourdan Lewis as the three-headed hydra at cornerback for the Cowboys in 2024, looking to quickly regain the form that made him one of the league’s best at his position.
