Euro 2024: cowboy boots with heels, tie and bell-bottoms… the notable arrival of Jules Koundé at Clairefontaine

He definitely doesn’t like to be sober. Passionate about fashion and accustomed to extravagant outfits, Jules Koundé once again pulled out all the stops when he arrived in Clairefontaine to prepare for Euro 2024 with the France team on Wednesday. The Barça defender this time opted for an orange tie to dress up a white shirt covered by a black leather coat.

The player trained in Bordeaux also wore rather light-colored jeans and “santiag” style shoes with heels. In his hand, the player trained in Bordeaux carries a black and white bag, from Louis Vuitton (also owner of the Le Parisien Les Échos group).

Passionate about fashion, Koundé opted, during the last gathering, for an even more extravagant style, including a matching bucket hat and yellow jacket. The international defender was named “best dressed personality of 2023” by British magazine Outlander.

20 of the 25 Blues selected joined Clairefontaine. Those absent are still held back by their club’s deadlines, either the Champions League final (Aurélien Tchouaméni, Ferland Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga) or their club’s tour of Australia (Olivier Giroud, Théo Hernandez). Bradley Barcola thus took his first steps with his teammates in the French team.
