The game between Chicago and Houston will take place on August 1 in Canton, Ohio, and will be one of five games broadcast nationally
The NFL announced the television networks and start times of its 2024 preseason games this Friday.
In total, five preseason games will be broadcast nationally, beginning with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears facing the Houston Texans on Aug. 1 in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio (8 p.m. ET, ESPN/ABC).
The second week of the preseason features the game between the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers on August 18 (8 p.m. ET, Fox), followed by three nationally broadcast games in Week 3: Indianapolis Colts-Cincinnati Bengals on the 22nd August (8 p.m. ET, Prime Video), Arizona Cardinals-Denver Broncos (4:30 p.m. ET, CBS) and New England Patriots-Washington Commanders (8 p.m. ET, NBC) on August 25.

Preseason games will be played August 1-25 before the regular season begins with a rematch of the AFC Championship Game between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, September 5.
