While he refuses (for the moment) to undergo private training with the Hawks, Alex Sarr undoubtedly has an idea in mind. And we have to believe that it will come to fruition, according to recent rumors.
The draft will take place in less than a week now, with a possible French duo at the top of the event. If we rely on rumors from recent months, Zaccharie Risacher will go first to the Hawks, while Alex Sarr should head to the Wizards. A turnaround remains possible, even if the choice of Sarr should finalize all that.
We know that certain prospects have preferences, and we have to believe that this is the case with Sarr. Jonathan Givony confirmed the fact that the Frenchman did not train with the Hawks. No live workout, no interview with the Frenchman to find out more about him. In these conditions, it is unlikely that Atlanta will decide to select him in first position.

Sarr would also have a very specific reason behind this choice. Knowing this, everything suggests today that the player will go to Washington in second position, behind Risacher. This is not yet a certainty, however, Givony confirms that this is the most likely scenario to date. Bilal Coulibaly should have another Frenchman at his side.

Risacher should go to the Hawks, while Donovan Clingan is expected in third position or a little later depending on the needs of the Rockets and company. Sarr is expected at the Wizards, a place where he already sees himself playing at position 4 with Coulibaly at his side. It must be admitted that it is rather attractive on paper.
The draft is far from being a certainty at this stage, but everything suggests that Alex Sarr will land in Washington in second position. Good news for the Frenchman, clearly interested in the idea of playing in the Capital next year.
