Indonesian U-16 National Team Still Hasn’t Qualified for the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup Semifinals, Nova Arianto Spies Laos

Bola.net – The Indonesian U-16 national team has still not qualified for the semifinals of the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup. In fact, Garuda Muda has collected two wins in Group A.

The Indonesian U-16 national team opened Group A of the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup with a 3-0 win over Singapore on Friday (21/6). Most recently, Gardua Muda crushed the Philippines 3-0 on Monday (24/6).

These two wins made the Indonesian U-16 National Team dominate Group A of the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup by collecting six points from two matches. However, Garuda Muda was caught by Laos.

Laos also scored six points from two performances by beating the Philippines 3-0 on Friday (21/6) and Singapore 2-1 on Monday (24/6). They only lost on goal difference to the U-16 Indonesian National Team.

Evaluation of the U-16 Indonesian National Team

On the last matchday of Group A, the Indonesian U-16 National Team will play Laos. The match will take place on Thursday (27/6) at Manahan Stadium, Solo.

“Yes, of course we will always evaluate. We will first evaluate the match against the Philippines, whether the players performed optimally or not,” said Nova.

“Including us monitoring or watching videos from Laos. And regarding any strategy, we will see later because we will see the condition of the players.”

“Because information will also follow which players can appear and resolve the situation of the Indonesian U-16 National Team players,” added Nova.
