Indonesian Women’s National Team Coach Looks to Naturalize Players of Chinese Descent

Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – The coach of the Indonesian Women’s National Team, Satoru Mochizuki, admitted that he wanted to imitate coach Shin Tae-yong’s steps by calling up hereditary players in his squad.

As is known, the Indonesian men’s national team, whose achievements continue to rise, currently has several players of Chinese descent such as Ivar Jenner, Rafael Struick, Shayne Pattynama and Justin Hubner.

Like the team coached by STY, Satoru wants to strengthen Garuda Pertiwi with players of Chinese descent, such as the two players who are currently on trial with his team, Noa Leatomu and Estella Loupatty.

“Like the men’s national team, we also want a naturalization plan so we’ll see how it plays first,” said Satoru after leading training at the Gelora Bung Karno Rugby Field, Jakarta, Wednesday.

According to the former assistant coach of the Japanese national team, the quality of the two players from the European League who attended TC this time was very good.

He said that Noa and Estella had good speed even though they were both still adapting to the hot weather in Jakarta.
