Alex Pereira is shaping up to be the best light heavyweight in the world, something manager Ali Abdelaziz doesn’t agree with.
The star boss from the Dominance MMA stable has several famous fighters under him, including the recently mentioned Magomed Ankalaev. This is the fighter that even Daniel Cormier said is perhaps the only one in the light heavyweight division who can beat reigning champion Alex Pereira. Abdelaziz, for example, does not doubt this at all.
“Dana White, you’ve already given Pereira enough victims, but now it’s time to give him a real opponent. Give him Magomed Ankalaev and I guarantee he will blow him in the first round. No one is better than Ankalaev, he is the future champion.” Abdelaziz chimed in on his networks.

The controversial manager with Egyptian roots tries it this way often. His statement aims to stir emotions and arouse public interest. However, he regularly succeeds.
“Pereira is a good fighter who has a great attitude, but he will always come second to Ankalaev. That’s the truth,” written by Abdelaziz.
At the UFC 303 post-fight press conference, Dana White himself said that Ankalaev should be the next title challenger in the light heavyweight division. On the one hand, he is a fighter who is on a ten-match winning streak, but on the other hand, he is also the last name that the Brazilian champion needs to successfully “clean up” the entire division.
“Poatan” intends to move up to heavyweight and become the first fighter in UFC history to dominate three weight classes. This difficult task should be possible for him if he defeats Anakalaev. So there will be a lot at stake.
This Brazilian-Russian duel could take place on October 26 at UFC 308, when the MMA colossus returns to Abu Dhabi. This is the term that Magomed most often mentions in connection with his return.
