Spain coach Luis de la Fuente praised the performance of prodigy Lamine Yamal, who scored his team’s equaliser against France (2-1) in the Euro 2024 semi-finals on Tuesday, saying the FC Barcelona player was “a genius”.
“We saw a genius. He can be better every day and continue to grow, with that attitude, that maturity and the professionalism he shows. What I am happy about is that he plays with us, that he is Spanish and that we can enjoy him for many more years.”explained the Iberian coach about Yamal, who on Tuesday became the youngest player to score in a European championship at 16 years and 362 days.
