Yesterday, two of its participants played a test match in preparation for the basketball tournament of the Paris Olympics, as Serbia celebrated its victory over France ar 79:67.

The home team OS got a five-point advantage in the first quarter, but the second half of the match turned out to be a disaster for France, as the team lost 9:27. This had a significant impact on the final result, because in the second half the teams played point by point and France failed to overcome the deficit.

Nikol Jokic scored 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners, while Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 15 points. In the French team, Victor Vembanyama was the top scorer with 14 points and ten rebounds.

The French team previously defeated Turkey (96:46) and Germany (90:66), later losing to last year’s World Cup winner 65:70. It was the first test match for Serbia.

The basketball tournament of the Paris Olympic Games will take place from July 27 to August 10.
