The members of the very young archery section met at the end of the 2024 season on their shooting range at the Tête-Noire site, on the occasion of their general assembly. The president of the ACSB Omnisports section, Pierre Boucher, also attended this meeting.
License prices are increasing
President Quentin Naudon opened this session by announcing a membership of thirty-two licensees. He took the opportunity to thank the municipality for its support for the section, as well as the multi-sport section of the ACSB. He also presented the increased price of new licenses next year: €110 for adults and €80 for young people. This is due to the increase in fees from the French Archery Federation.
Sylvie Borget, new president
Quentin Naudon then invited the members of the archery section to elect a new president, due to a lack of availability due in part to his job as a farmer. Sylvie Borget was unanimously elected for her results, first of all beginners last January, and for her investment in the club. Dominique Brouard was elected vice-president, Marie Garsault treasurer, Delphine Madrolles secretary and Roselyne Duteil assistant secretary.
Training for young people
Alain Brunet will officiate next season as the club’s trainer-coach. For next season and with the aim of helping young people progress, training will be dedicated to them on Tuesdays from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The club participated in the Tour de l’Indre des Sports on Tuesday, July 16, and will be present on July 21 at the Jaugette opera in Obterre and two days later, on the 23rd, at the rehearsal of this opera at the Jean-Bénard cultural center. It will also be there for Buz’en Sport, the last weekend of September.
For next season, training will resume on Tuesday, September 2 at the Raoul-Janvoie school gymnasium. Training will take place on Tuesday and Friday from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Anyone who wants to discover this discipline can come directly to training.
