Bucks under pressure
Just after Milwaukee’s elimination, he underwent a procedure to “clean” his left ankle, which weighed him down for more than a month, while he had fallen on Kevin Durant’s foot in February.
In mid-June, he underwent another procedure, apparently less serious, on his right ankle, also to clean it. A double operation that should allow the 32-year-old player to avoid any discomfort next season, when the Bucks will be under pressure for Damian Lillard’s second campaign in Wisconsin.
Limited by its finances, Doc Rivers’ team thus recovered Taurean Prince, Delon Wright and Gary Trent Jr. for minimum salaries, in order to compensate for the departures of Malik Beasley and Patrick Beverley.
