In addition, 79 flights were cancelled nationwide and 71 more were delayed, most of them from the Viva Aerobús company.

Airlines must respond for cancelled or delayed flights

Profeco reminded that airlines will have to respond for cancelled or delayed flights resulting from the failures in Microsoft’s CrowdStrike.

Airlines are required to respond to cancelled or delayed flights because the Civil Aviation Law states that all passengers have the right to fair treatment and a “high level” of information that allows them to resolve flight cancellations or delays.
