BUC Wraps Up Successful Season with General Meeting and Promising Future Plans

After a good season for the seniors in agreement with the ESMASP club, the BUC held its general meeting where around twenty supporters and players were present. Yohan Laverny, president of the BUC, in the presence of his counterpart from St Puy, opened the latter under the basketball hall with the activity report and on morale. The senior team playing for several seasons in agreement with St Puy is evolving in the pre-regional championship and finished fourth in its group out of 9 competing teams. It lost in the semi-final against this season’s champion Sempessère by a score of 55 to 46. As for the mini-basketball school, it brought together nearly 13 children every Monday for training. The U13 team (chicks) made several plateaus winning practically all the matches. The assiduity and the quality of the supervision are bearing fruit. This augurs promising future seasons. The financial results are slightly profitable despite several purchases during the season such as mini-basketball and PC panels. For the upcoming calendar, a meeting will be held in August with Saint Puy to identify the numbers for the future season. As every year, the BUC will hold the refreshment bar during the village festival. An aperitif lunch closed the general meeting in a friendly atmosphere.
