The man who was world number one for 41 consecutive weeks between 2016 and 2017, as well as winning 46 titles throughout his career (three of them Grand Slam tournaments and one ATP Finals), will say goodbye to tennis at an event that is also very special for him.

The thing is Andy Murray, Gold medal winner at London 2012 (vs. Roger Federer) and Rio de Janeiro 2016 (vs. Juan Martín del Potro), he is the only tennis player in the 128-year modern history of the competition to have two gold medals.

It should be remembered that the British man was also honoured in Wimbledon. After failing to compete in the singles due to not being 100% fit, he opted to compete in the doubles alongside his brother Jamie Murray. However, they were eliminated in the first round by Rinky Hijikata and John Peers in a match that was one of the most emotional in the history of the All England Club.
