Bayern Gordie’s Bright Beginning: Exciting Matchups Await in the 2024/25 BBL Cup!

Things are off to a good start for Bayern Gordie!

While our basketball players in France are preparing for their hunt for Olympic gold, the matches for the first round and the round of 16 of the 2024/25 BBL Cup were drawn in a special broadcast of the Dyn show “Nothing but Net” in Düsseldorf. All clubs in the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga and seven ProA league teams in the BARMER 2nd Basketball Bundesliga were in the draw. Katharina Arnold, co-coach of the RheinStars Cologne, was the lucky fairy.

Basketball fans can look forward to a mega game in the round of 16. Defending champions FC Bayern Munich, with their new coach and current national team coach Gordon Herbert, will face former Champions League winners Telekom Baskets Bonn. What a great draw for Bayern’s Gordie!

Not enough: In the opening round, there will be a hate duel between Trier and the Skyliners Frankfurt. Last season, things got really heated in the promotion round! With hall bans, reports and fines!
