The New York Knicks have reached an agreement with Chuma Okeke, Michael Scotto reports.
The forward selected by the Orlando Magic at No. 16 in the 2019 NBA Draft spent 5 seasons in Florida, with averages of 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds, but a minor role in 2023-24 (2.2 points in 9 minutes).
It’s unclear what kind of agreement the two sides have reached, but Okeke will likely be at the Knicks’ training camp to convince Thibodeau to give him a spot in the 15-man roster for the regular season.
