2. Baseball Bundesliga: Two more victories in Munich
Last weekend, the Gauting Indians started as usual with U23 national player Philipp Kleehaupt on the mound, who had the Munich Caribes’ offense well under control. It was also Kleehaupt who made a decisive contribution to the Indians’ 3-2 victory with his first home run of the season.
In the second game, Elias Huber – also a U23 national player – was on the mound for Gauting. He played as confidently as usual and only allowed one run from the guests. In contrast to the first game, the Gauting offense scored well again. A total of 11 runs were scored. Final score 11:1.
