Jeremy Lamb Announces Retirement

Jeremy Lamb announced his retirement from basketball with a post on his social media channels.

“Basketball has been with me all my life, so this decision was not easy”

“I know I wouldn’t be where I am without the love and support of my family and friends, so I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation. I’m grateful for the many ways you’ve supported me throughout my career.”

“I also want to thank my teammates, who made this experience unforgettable. To my coaches, thank you for your guidance and belief in me. Your impact on my life goes beyond the field. Now it’s time to chase another dream!”

Lamb, selected 12th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Thunder, has averaged 10.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 10 seasons in the league.

Before his NBA debut, the 32-year-old winger was among the stars of Connecticut’s 2011 NCAA title.
