Soudal Quick-Step has decided to hire Andrea Raccagni Noviero from the training team. The Italian rider will get his chance with the pros next year Wolfpack.

The 20-year-old Noviero was crowned Italian U23 time trial champion earlier this year. However, the Italian posted a moving letter a few days ago after the death of Muriel Furrer in which he pleads for more safety.

Impressive
At Soudal Quick-Step they are already extremely enthusiastic about the 20-year-old rider. “He has the work ethic, the ambition and the mentality to improve and play a role in the team’s success,” said Patrick Lefevere.
“He is a real team player, as evidenced by his performances in the U23 Giro and the Tour of Slovakia, to name just a few of the races where he impressed us,” concluded the big boss.
