Numerous participants from various Italian provinces who, for the first time, found themselves in Enna for the national medieval archery final
Archers from several Italian regions competed in Enna on the occasion of the national final of Historical Archery Fitast Fitarco. An evocative event that marked a triple debut: for the first time the challenge was held, in fact, in Enna, in Sicily and in the south of Italy.
The final of the championship, which had the patronage of the Municipality, was organized at Villa Torre di Federico by the Arcieri del Castello company, who have continued the discipline in recent years. For the city of Enna it was a real return to the past, a journey into the Middle Ages thanks to the historical clothes and the typical market of the time set up for the occasion. It is therefore not only a sporting and historical event but also a valorisation of the territory capable of creating sharing between the regions.
