The young Drummondvillois is one of the 28 players invited to take part in the fall training camp of the national under-18 team. The event, held under the auspices of Baseball Canada, will take place in the Dominican Republic from October 21 to 29.

During this nine-day camp, the Canadian team will play 12 games against teams from the Dominican Development League belonging to the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Cardinals organizations. of St. Louis and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Among the players invited by Baseball Canada, we find five Quebecers, 11 Ontarians, ten players from British Columbia and two others from Alberta. The Canadian team’s coaching staff is made up of Greg Hamilton, Pete Orr, Chris Reitsma and Jesse Hodge.

Aged 17, Félix Gosselin will be having his first experience in the national junior program. “It would be a dream for me to play on my country’s national team. That’s why I’m working at the moment,” said Félix Gosselin in a recent interview with L’Express.

The product of the Baseball Academy of Canada, who studied with the Riverains at Marie-Rivier high school, plays mainly at first base.
