Luis Palma returns to Celtic after 17 days of inactivity in a friendly against Sligo Rovers

Luis Palma will return to action with Celtic after 17 days without participating in official competitions.

The Honduran striker will face Sligo Rovers in a friendly match, taking advantage of the international break for the FIFA date.

Palma’s last appearance came on September 22, in a 5-2 win against Falkirk.

In that match, corresponding to the quarterfinals of the Scottish League Cup, the catracho started and played 60 minutes, helping his team seal qualification with a resounding victory.

However, Palma had not seen action in the Scottish league or the UEFA Champions League.

In the last two games of both tournaments, the forward was relegated to the bench, which limited his participation and pace of play.

The friendly match against Sligo Rovers represents a valuable opportunity for Palma. This match will allow him to return to the field of play and work on his physical fitness, seeking to regain prominence in the Celti team.
