The 3rd Okinawa Arena will be held on October 20th (Sunday), where the finals of the 2024 5th Okinawa Prefecture U15 Basketball Championship and Jr. Winter Cup 5th National U15 Basketball Championship Okinawa Preliminary Tournament will be held. It has been decided that Kings U15 will participate in the Cup.
In the semifinal match against 23 Academy on October 6th (Sunday), the team as a whole succeeded in making 17 3-point shots, using the shooting ability they had honed over the summer to dominate the match and win 100-37. We advanced to the finals. Among them, captain #29 Shunsuke Miyazato led the team with 27 points, and vice captain #54 Keiji Koshi scored a team-high 32 points.
The opponent in the finals will be against Standard, who is on the same card as last year. The team will aim for its fifth consecutive victory in this tournament, leveraging its strengths in its “ultra-high-speed basketball” ability, which has been honed through daily practice, where it continues to think about plays while running, and its ability to communicate proactively.
Thanks to the efforts of many people, we are grateful to be able to play basketball in the wonderful environment of Okinawa Arena, and we will work together as a team to bring energy to everyone.
