International artistic gymnastics: Leverkusen Cup 2024

Leverkusen. The Turn-Club 72 Leverkusen invites you to the 47th international Leverkusen Cup in Olympic gymnastics on Saturday, October 12, 2024, 4 p.m., in the Leverkusen Ostermann Arena.

The international field of gymnasts is made up of teams of three gymnasts each from Germany, England (2 teams), the Netherlands, Norway (2 teams), Slovenia, South Africa and the Czech Republic.

At the Leverkusen Cup, the winner of the team competition in the Olympic disciplines of vault, uneven bars, beam and floor will compete for the traditional challenge cup of the same name.

Lara Baumgartl, Frederika Suhl and Lucia Bracka start for the Germany selection team.

Tickets are still available at the box office on October 12thAdults: 20 euros,

Students 6-17 years: 14 euros

Children 3-5 years: 5 euros

Small children 0-2 years: free entry. Admission is from 2.30 p.m. and free choice of seats applies. Information about the event can be found at www.leverkusen-cup.de.

47 years of history, tradition and international

FriendshipThe Leverkusen Cup has been organized by the Turn-Club 72 Leverkusen eV since 1976, making it the oldest international tournament in female Olympic gymnastics in Europe. Artistic gymnasts from all over the world from almost 100 different clubs from over 40 nations and from all five continents were guests in Leverkusen. Many World Cup and Olympic participants gained their first important experience on the international stage at the Leverkusen Cup.

The Leverkusen Cup is a team competition with integrated individual scoring. Three gymnasts form a team. The two best scores per device count for the team score. The best team in the team ranking receives the “Leverkusen Cup Challenge Cup”. Each gymnast performs a freestyle competition on vault, uneven bars, beam and floor. The best gymnast in the competition becomes the individual winner of the Leverkusen Cup.
