Looking ahead to the World Cup Final, which will be held in Tlaxcala, both spoke about the importance of the competition in our country and what is expected.

“This opportunity for people to see an event that we saw in Paris now in our country, well, I think it is unbeatable, but it is worth taking the time, going, Tlaxcala is a very beautiful city that will welcome people with open arms, but above all seeing our archers,” says Gabriel Ramos, president of the Mexican Archery Federation.

“I think people will be able to understand very well what the compound bow is, the recurve bow and why Mexico is a power and why everyone turns to look at us and what Mexico is doing to make it a protagonist,” he added.

For his part, the Olympian in Paris 2024, Matías Grande, spoke about his expectations for this commitment that closes the world archery activity.

“Always working, regardless of the result, even though in Paris the truth is, I came back very happy, I learned a lot. Of course I have to recognize that I have to continue improving since what I want is an Olympic medal. So right now We have a next Olympic scale competition where we can get back in touch with the best in the world and we are in the world and we are in it, so we are going to keep trying,” Matías mentioned.

“Very grateful too, I also feel that I’m going with a little more security because even though last year was my first World Cup Final, I was a ‘newbie’, I’m already twenty, I’ve already gone up to the second floor, so I feel, to be honest, much more prepared, much safer, more directed , more focused, and happier with what is being presented to me and we are going to continue working for that; right now In ten days I have a new chance of reaching a medal, that’s what I love about sport that despite some result that may have been very good or something not so expected. You always have a new possibility and that is why we train every day to improve our previous version even if we have won the tournament,” he concluded.

The Final of the Archery World Cup It will take place on October 19 and 20, with the presence of the 32 best archers in the world in the women’s and men’s branches in their recurve and compound modalities.
