The new season of the Sports Schools in Villarrubia de los Ojos has begun with a wide variety of disciplines so that all the boys and girls in the town can enjoy the sport they like the most. This extensive catalog includes traditional sports such as football, basketball and tennis, as well as paddle tennis, judo and a sports toy library.
With around 700 registered, the high participation reflects the growing interest in sports in Villarrubia de los Ojos. As a novelty this year, registration began at the beginning of August in order to have the groups ready for this month of October. In addition, efforts are being made to incorporate new activities, such as table tennis, chess and athletics, with the aim of offering alternatives for all tastes and encouraging the practice of sports from an early age.
The Sports Schools are organized by the city council, which continues to support the comprehensive development of young people through sports.
