The 2026 World Cup Qualification Group C standings underwent another change after Japan beat Saudi Arabia 2-0, Friday (11/10) early morning WIB. The following is the standings of Group C which is also occupied Indonesian National Team.

Japan beat hosts Saudi Arabia 2-0 in Group C of the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah, Friday (11/10) early morning WIB.

This victory made Japan even stronger at the top of Group C by packing perfect points, namely nine points from the three matches played. Previously, Japan won 7-0 over China and 5-0 over Bahrain.

As a result of conceding two goals from Japan, Saudi Arabia had to drop from second place in Group C to third place with four points from the three matches played.

Meanwhile, the runner up position in Group C is currently occupied by Australia with a score of four points from the three matches played. In Thursday’s match (10/10), Australia successfully beat China 3-1 in Adelaide.

Meanwhile, in the other match in Group C, the Indonesian National Team was able to steal one point from Bahrain after drawing 2-2 in Bahrain, Thursday (10/10).

One additional point does not change Indonesia’s position in fifth place in Group C standings with three points from the three matches played.

Meanwhile, Bahrain also remains in fourth place in Group C with four points from the three matches played.

In this match, Japan managed to take a 1-0 lead through Daichi Kamada’s goal in the 14th minute.

Then in the 81st minute Japan managed to add a goal through Koki Ogawa’s header which changed the score to 2-0.

In the next match which will be held on Tuesday (15/10), Japan will meet Australia. Then China will host Indonesia and Saudi Arabia will duel against Bahrain.
