The Brazilian team underwent yet another change in its squad list. As Lucas Paquetá received a third yellow card against Chile, Dorival Júnior and his coaching staff had to call in a new midfielder.
Matheus Pereirafrom Cruzeiro, was called up by Brazil to replace Paquetá. The Cruzeiro native will be among those listed in the match against Peru, in Brasília, next Tuesday.

With nine goals scored and 13 assists this season, Matheus Pereira is the player of the Cruise with more direct participation in goals in 2024.
Raposa acquired the player permanently in July this year, when they bought his number 10 shirt for around 5 million euros (around R$30 million at the time) from Al Hilal, from Saudi Arabia.
