Major League Championship Series: this is how the Yankees and Mets will play

The New York Yankees closed their qualification for the American League Championship Series this Thursday by beating the Kansas City Royals 3-1 and thus returning to this stage five seasons later. After they fell to the Houston Astros in 2019.

Well, they managed to sign their classification in just four games against the Philadelphia Phillies and Now they are only waiting for their rival in the series between the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers to define the National League champion.

Unlike the Yankees, the Mets had the worst record in the regular season of those classified in their league, so they will have to start this Championship Series as visitors.

Likewise, the best of seven will be played starting with two games in California (San Diego or Los Angeles depending on who wins) and then it will move to the Big Apple for three games in a row at Citi Field. In the National League the series will begin on Sunday, October 13.
