Preparations for the Archery World Cup Final detailed

The city of Tlaxcala will receive for the second time the “Archery World Cup Final”, organized by World Archery, thanks to the efforts of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (Conade), in coordination with the government of the state headed by President Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros.

The above, after the success of 2022, when Tlaxcala served as host for the first time of an archery world cup final and hosted other important events on the international sporting level that same year, such as the “World Archery Tour”. “Tlaxcala Beach Volleyball 2022.”

Over two days of grueling competition, the top 32 archers will compete for the glory of the title of Hyundai Archery World Cup Champion.

The Tlaxcala Sports Institute (IDET) reported that the competitions will be held in the temporary stadium located in front of the Government Palace, while the archers’ training will take place at the Tlahuicole stadium.

In the same way there will be a warm-up area for the archers, prior to their competitions that will take place in front of the Tlaxcala Art Museum.

In the women’s recurve category, Sihyeon Lim and Hunyoung Jeon from South Korea will compete; from India, Deepika Kumari; from China, Jiaman Li and Xiaolei Yiang; from Japan, Waka Sonoda, and from Mexico, Alejandra Valencia and Ángela Ruíz.

In men’s recurve, from South Korea, Woojin Kim and Woo Seuk Lee; from India, Dhiraj Bommadevara; from Brazil, Marcus D’Almeida; from France, Thomas Chiraut; from Spain, Andres Temiño; from Italy, Mauro Nespoli, and from Mexico, Matías Grande.

In the women’s compound modality, from India, Jyothi Vennam; from Colombia, Sara López; from Great Britain, Ella Gibson; from Estonia, Meri-Marita Pass; from the United States, Alexis Ruiz; from Italy, Elisa Roner, and from the host country, Andrea Becerra and Dafne Quintero.

In the same men’s category, from the Netherlands, Mike Schloesser; from Denmark, Mathias Fullerton; from India, Priyansh and Parthamesh Fuge; from Austria, Nico Wiener; from the United States, Sawyer Sullivan and James Lutz, and from Mexico, Sebastián García.

Tickets to attend this sporting event are on sale at TicketMovil.com and at the Tlaxcala Art Museum (MAT) ticket offices, with a cost of 250 pesos per session. The men’s compound bow final session will be on October 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., while the women’s will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The recurve bow modality will be held on October 20; for men, from 10:00 to 12:00, and recurve for women, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The participation draw will be at 6:00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Government Palace, which will also be broadcast on the official World Archery channel.

The opening of the final will take place on October 17 in the main stadium at 8:00 p.m., where the athletes will be presented, a formal ceremony, a tribute to the Mexican Olympic medalists and a surprise show will take place.

Likewise, the general event will have the fan fest area, to host activations, training, ticket sales points, as well as the sale of food and drinks.

In this way, the state government, through the IDET and other bodies, works in coordination to promote economic benefits, achieve a social legacy and position the entity at a national and international level as an ideal destination for tourism and sports, to encourage the population to promote sports activities and physical activation.
