Senegal and Ivory Coast shine, Tunisia sinks against the Comoros

This Friday evening, qualifying for the next CAN continued in Africa. Champion of the last edition, Ivory Coast faced Sierra Leone at home. An easy opposition on paper, but which ultimately proved more complicated than expected for the Elephants. While Nicolas Pépé opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, the Ivorians almost doubled the lead, but Franck Kessié missed his penalty in the 37th minute. A failure which left the door open for their opponents who equalized thanks to Alhassan Koroma just before the break.
