At the age of five, she plays on Sundays in the golf kindergarten in Niederbüren SG. She attended her first training sessions at the age of eight. At twelve, she overtook her parents in the handicap. «It’s amazing that Chiara plays golf so well. She didn’t get this talent from me!” says dad Marco Tamburlini (63) and laughs. He, once president of the Niederbüren Golf Club, couldn’t be prouder.”We didn’t expect this success. But I see that it’s her passion and that’s why I couldn’t imagine anything better for her.”
