Art side of the moon consciously offers FLINTA* artists a platform. It wants to help improve their visibility in the art scene and encourage us to change the image we have of artists and break down stereotypes, clichés and prejudices. The choice of the Autonomous Center as the event location should also contribute to this.
“With the art side of the moon festival in AZ, we want to bring an art exhibition to a place where something like this doesn’t take place every day and, by combining it with other program elements, we want to bring people who don’t necessarily already have access to art to an art exhibition,” explains the event group.
